Through company-sponsored volunteer events, charitable drives, and direct contributions, we strive to support the communities in which we live and work.
Our founder's upbring formed his view that giving back and supporting your communities is a prerequisite to success. We cannot succeed if our communities are not succeeding. Each team member is encouraged to actively participate in these efforts, including taking paid time off to volunteer for charitable causes they are passionate about. For employees who give financial support to charitable organizations, MX Holdings offers an annual charitable match, doubling their impact.
Our executive leadership team, led by Chairman Michael Lefton, who serves as Chairman of Variety STL and on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, sets the standard for community involvement. Both the executive and manufacturing leadership teams volunteer their time each quarter to directly impact the local communities where we operate. Whether it is painting the break room at one of our facilities, working at a women’s shelter or building bikes for kids. Our executive leadership team set the example that all teams and individuals follow, giving back to your community is a core part of our success.
We have a dedicated Community Impact Workgroup to enhance our efforts and identify new opportunities for engagement. From donating school supplies for employees’ children to supporting coworkers in times of need, our team is always looking for ways to make a difference.
At Metal Exchange, we believe that being a responsible corporate citizen means more than just financial contributions. We actively engage with the communities where we operate to foster positive relationships and build sustainable futures. Through local employment opportunities, educational programs, and ongoing support for local organizations, we aim to create lasting, meaningful change.
